[It is Valentine's and Sayo shows up on the screen. Hopefully, she's doing fine after the past few days of weirdness. Maybe the chocolates would make her feel better?]

[She's hoping he's been doing okay. She'd just spent the past few days being unable to see blue (all the empty hangers in her closet and the weird eye-aching emptiness of the sky had been a good enough indication) and then eventually she'd ended up looking into her mirror and not even seeing her own eyes. That had been very strange.

But nonetheless, she was glad to see him and it shows in her expression when she smiles at him.]

I can see you. Is everything alright? Are you hurt?

[He can feel something like a sense of relief when he saw her. She seems to be okay and in one piece. He blinks, before he shakes his head.]

No, I'm not hurt. I'm alright. [Even though it was scary when he started to disappear.] Are you alright?

[He didn't know what might happened to her. He saw the reports on the network and wondered if she had one of those strange afflictions as well.]

Special Delivery!! - 2/14

[See, they can totally be delivered! Even if she comes to the Valentine's Day Special Episode (wow and it's a good thing that was filmed before Vegeta decided to go and destroy half the city), Sanji still makes sure to send Veronica one of his chocolate-covered fruit bouquets. There's a small box of handmade chocolates with it, as well as a note:]

[Veronica never doubted him for a second, but she didn't expect the flower bouquet and is pleasantly surprised when it arrives. (She even spent a very long time just examining it.)

She still doesn't know where anyone lives though, so her normal thank-you note is sent in text form instead.]

[Namur has no idea where any of his gift recipients live, so he's sending mysterious (???) text messages telling them where to find their Valentine's Day gifts.]

[Of course, Namur assumes she'll know it's from him. He's left a small gift bag with the manager at the place they'd met before. Inside, there's a small "knight in armor" teddy bear with a plushie sword and movable, plush visor. The tag says "Happy Day" on it because he couldn't remember the name of the holiday. Oops.]

[Thankfully she hasn't been to very many cafes with other people so it only takes her a few tries to get it right and by then she's figured out who the gift-giver is.

The bear earns the name "Rida", after her guard, and a place beside her bed. She would have written him a thank-you note but because there's no list of where everyone lives she makes do with a text.]

Dear Namur,

The gift is delightful, and I like it very much. The visor and the little sword are so cute. Thank you.

I am fine. [Something might have knocked her in the head, but it's nothing. (And also might have fallen into the cold water which is worse considering her health before this.]

Stay where you are if it's safe.

[ He didn't actually want to do this, but guilt and regrets don't exactly fade away easily, and he actually feels bad about it. She's one of two people he's met here that he's actually somewhat fond of in his own weird way, and thus he doesn't want to risk upsetting her. Women can be scary when they're upset. ]

[Thankfully he knocks to let her know he's here. There's dinner cooking away in the kitchen and she turns the flame down a little lower before going for the door. As soon as she sees that it's him, she smiles, opening the door just a bit wider.]

[There really are changes to his appearance, now that she's actually seeing him in person and she looks, carefully examining his face to see what had changed.]

I like all of them so I could not say that I have a favorite. Although I do quite like red. And blue. And green is lovely especially in the same shade as the trees during spring.

[a day off from work means getting to relax for most people. in flynn's case? it's time for research! recent events have made it clear that his understanding of flirting still remains severely lacking. that cannot continue.

the best way to expand knowledge of this nature is through reading (or so he believes) and what better place to find books than at the library? embarrassing as it is, he's standing in the aisle dedicated to dating and romance. so many books to choose from! that only means that one of these HAS to be able to help him out.]

[Veronica is also a firm believer in the power of the knowledge you could find in books and since she'd also come to understand lately that her understanding of flirting was incredibly narrow, she'd come to the first place she'd thought could help her.

Entirely unembarrassed, Veronica is flipping through yet another novel about a brooding lord and a fiery commoner when she spots a familiar face through the gap between the books in the shelves. Tilting her head, she leans a bit closer.]
